We need an RPM package for Diffa. This would take on the following shape:
- It has to depend on a JDK
- Diffa gets embedded inside it's own Jetty or Tomcat instance in a directory such as /opt/diffa
- A standard config file is created at /etc/diffa.conf (or whatever is appropriate on RHEL)
- The diffa.conf file contains by default the settings for an embedded Derby instance /opt/diffa/data
- The standard conf file contains a commented out example of how to connect to a different DB (note this means that the driver needs to be part of the install as well - don't know what this means for non-re distributable drivers though)
- The standard config puts the correlation stores under /opt/diffa/index
- Diffa can be started and stopped via /etc/init.d
This ticket depends on #328 landing first, so that there is no custom code to get deployed inside Diffa.
