SPIKE: scrolling the heatmap on click-drag

Reported by Jonathan Lister | September 28th, 2010 @ 07:57 AM | in 0.8

Don't do this until it's been verified that it is needed to make the event-find bit of the heatmap good.

I know I can do it using translate functions.

Actually, this is needed to scroll during standard operation, so worth doing now.

Animating a big group of lots of blobs and labels is pretty jerky when using the built-in animate method. I can get started with this method, since the scrolling during LIVE use is very small, but for drag scrolling I'll want something else.

There's also the translate function, which moves elements, so I could use that to move them 1 pixel at a time.

I've posted on the raphaeljs group about this topic.

Closing since it's good enough for LIVE mode, and I don't know whether drag scrolling is necessary yet.
