Removed deprecated MailBox

The concurrent.MailBox is deprecated, but we are still using it in a few tests - this should be removed. Using a full blown actor might be overkill for this use case though. #266 avoided the use of this mailbox by using a java.util.concurrent.BlockingQueue.
