Replace Esper

We realistically need to re-implement the functionality that
Esper
provides somehow, so that we don't have a GPL dependency. This
could
be done by either searching for a non-GPL equivalent of Esper or
by
implementing the windowing in our own code.

I've written a simple alternative to the Esper engine using pure Scala constructs. Given the complexity of the component, it could do with a code review.
