Hibernate delete cascade

Hibernate can't cascade on delete without a one-to-many relationship. In the case of deleting endpoints this which would create an infinite loop in computing the hashCode of pairs. So the current workaround is to delete the children manually. It would however be nice to convince Hibernate to do this for us. See HibernateDomainConfigStore.deleteEndpoint/2 for the context.
