Removed use of large arrays axisx & data. This has had a reasonably positive effect on the performance. There is still some work to do to remove the circular reference between each blob (a SVG element) and its cluster (a JS object). I am going to open another ticket for that and set it to v1.0.

There has also been some miscellaneous tidying up, mainly to make sure that variables are not duplicated or inconsistently named.
